"Bourbon Pointu" from New Caledonia : Whole Bean
Content : 250g
The fragility and the location of production at altitude make it difficult to produce this variety of coffee (about 300-700 kg per year).
But what makes this coffee a top quality product is not only its rarity, but also the quality of its beans, its shape can be easily recognized by its tip at least on one side and its small size.
The density of the leaves of the coffee tree allows the coffee cherries to ripen slowly and develop a higher sugar level. It differs from other Arabicas by good acidity, low bitterness and little caffeine. Its taste is exceptional with delicate chocolate and fruity notes.
