What is Kiriboshi daikon?


Kiriboshi daikon is a food product made by cutting daikon large root (radish root) into thin slices and drying them under the sun.

The types and varieties of food substances in radish increase in free drying.

Especially such substances as potassium, iron, vitamin B1, B2 increase by far.

Kiriboshi daikon is also the name of the dish prepared with the dried radish slices.

To the side dishes are also added such ingredients as kombu and usuage (fried toff), which are not rare in Japanese cuisine. This dish is cooked with bonito-dashi, soy sauce and sugar.
