What is Kitsune-udon?

The word "Kitsune" in the name of this dish means "fox".
This name does not come from the fact that fox meat is used for this dish, but from the fact that there are some fried TOFU slices on top of the noodles,
which foxes should eat very gladly. Since foxes are considered luck-bringing animals in Japan, one named them so.
